LCR Brembos - Will they fit a Fabia vRS??

Featured Replies

Just a thought - with everyone talking about VAG compatibility e.g. 312 mm TT brakes, Seat strut brace, Seat Intake etc....

If a set of these becomes available on the cheap, will these fit a Fabia vRS??

Discs, carriers, calipers???

Has it been done before? I know there is the Brembo GT kit at

They dont fit behind Octavia VRS wheels, so I doubt you'd be able to get them on there.

Whats the point anyway?

they fit on a fabia as long as you can get a wheel with the correct clearance, for instance Audi s3 wheels or TT competitions

would need bigger rims plus maybe spaces depending on offset if you got them of a Leon Cupra R.

Ibiza Cupra uses 312mm discs with ap racing calipers. Again think spacers are needed.

I have Octy 17" vRS alloys so I guess they won't fit without hassle!

Just exploring options

Badger Bill Sells a Brembo upgrade kit for £500!!! It's for a MK3 Beeza 1.8T but think they are the same std as a Furby so should fit! You will need different wheels though think many of the Beeza lads I know with this kit fiited went for OZ Competitions (IRC) as fitted to the special edition 180Bhp Cupra R

Beeftech is referring to the 4-stud 308mm kit which is cheaper but being 4-stud won't fit the fabia.

They do fit behind Octy spiders but you do need spacers. I used 15mm spacers, as this was the only size I could locate that were hub-centric. I hav'nt had any problems though and I have only just recently replaced the discs and pads due to wear. I know someone that has 5mm universal spacers on his, and they just clear (and I do mean just!). Ideally you would need 10mm hub-centric spacers, with 10mm longer studs and all should be fine.

You'll need 17" wheels to accomodate Red Brembo calipers from my experience with my old Saab. Even then, only the more open 17's will allow for fitment. I had 290bhp and 305lb torque, so a brake upgrade was rather despirately needed!!
