Does anyone know the significance of the small grills at the front of the rear view mirror mount are, and whether these need to be kept clear when installing a dashcam?

I am guessing they may be vent holes for the auto dimming system located within the rear view mirror.

The camera located in there, so i imagine it’s ventilation for that, my camera is located directly under this housing and I have not had any problems.

Actually not sure the SE Business will have a camera as std (depending on the options ordered) either way it’s for ventilation.

Its the humidity sensor for the aircon. Turns demist on when the screen steams up.
