my 2011 Octavia 4x4 came well specified, with Sat Nav and Bluetooth etc. but there was no cruise control, which is driving me dotty, especially on the stretches of extra long motorway roadworks that are limited to 50 mph - grrrr!

 

Previously I retrofitted cruise control to Audi S4 and A3 models, with great success but I'm struggling to find the right part / kit for my 1.9 TDI 4x4. Has anyone successfully retrofitted cruise control to this model? Indeed, has anyone actually seen a factory fit cruise control on a 2011 Octavia 4x4?

 

A kit was ordered from the local Skoda dealer; whilst it fitted the vehicle, there was no combination of coding that would enable cruise control.

 

Thanks in advance for any advice or tips...
