Amundsen+ retrofit questions

I'm almost finished with my amundsen+ retrofit on my 2008 Fabia 2, but i've been walking into walls for the past 2 weeks

Backstory:

The car originally came with NO radio, as the options sticker said. I checked the Quadlock for canbus cables, it had them.

I bought an Amundsen+ from a guy that had it in his facelift Fabia 2. Plugged it in, it almost worked, but it didn't recognise the ignition signals. Found out that i need a "radio control module" for these PF Fabias, because they use canbus 1.6 instead of 2.0.

Fixes:

Went to Škoda and bought the 5j0 035 751 module, but only this one, even though there was a second option (same part number with an A after it) labeled DIAG. Wired it up, radio functions properly, bluetooth starts, goes to sleep correctly.

Issues:

-Maxi-dot only displays "RNS CRUISE" (from what i've heard it's a protocol issue, so is there a way to translate these protocols?)

-VCDS crashes when i try to access address 37 (It connects to it, but the second it tries to identify it, cable goes ape**** and VCDS freezes. When i connected it to an Octavia 2 PreFL, it connected correctly to it, and even coded it, using the same cable and laptop)
