Hi all,

 

Have a 2003 1.4mpi fabia.  I am going to replace the crankshaft oil seal on the timing chain end tomorrow but will need to drop that side of the engine to gain access from under the wheel arch.  Where is the best place to support the engine when I drop it slightly one side.

 

Second question, When I use the keyfob to unlock the car, the boot lid will not open when I use the switch above the number plate.  However if I then open one of the car doors It then will open.  Anybody have any ideas on this one.

I just used a trolley jack with wooden block under the sump. It's a pretty light engine.
