Auto dimming rear view mirror upgrade

Has anyone fitted an auto dimming rear mirror in their Rapid? I am thinking of either using a second hand VAG unit or a after market item. Any experience in finding a power supply above the mirror?

I suggest you route a cable along the edge towards the A-pillar, then down and inside the dashboard towards the fusebox and then use a piggyback fuse holder to power your mirror. I have done the same for my dashcam and works like a charm.

We bought our Scala Monte Carlo Edition 1.5 tsi back in December and from late January it has had both mechanical problems and electronic gremlins. The mechanical problem have mostly been sorted, new rear discs and pads that were making noises like a wheel bearing was rumbling, the gearbox has had a software update and a reset (it's still not perfect). And the road noise is just the high dB tyres and lack of sound insulation. The electronic gremlins were put down to a failing 12v battery which

I have a 2022 Karoq 110PS which will need the spark plugs changing soon. I have looked at a couple of on line retailers but they quote different thread lengths for their plugs against my registration. These are 20.5mm, 26.5mm and 28mm. I don't want to fit the wrong plugs so am asking advice on which is the correct plug length for my car? I believe NGK plugs will have been fitted by Skoda originally so will be looking to stay with NGK if I can. Many thanks.

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional.
