Hello guys. I have a problem!

Lights on front doors won't work. Interior light turns on when i open the door but door lights wont. There is also no indicator on the dashboard for open doors. Both bulbs are new. Im guessing previous owner did something with electrics. Where to start looking?

Probably the micro switch on the door lock. There's a guide to replacing it on the site somewhere.

When my microswitch was failing Im sure it didn't do all the same things consistently. Used lock mech fixed it because I couldn't be bothered with digging the switch out. A lot of people get the ebay special lock mechs from China with very few issues.

Only when the car is locked. It doesn't flash when the car is running.

Still sounds like door microswitch to me. I'd try a new door lock and see if that fixes it.

So i will have to change microswitch on both doors?

Probably just drivers door as that's shut more often, tends to be door shutting that disturbs it over time. I dare say just drivers one should do it
