Featured Replies

i went up to barnsley yesterday to reclaim my octy. what a state she's in!!!! interior is covered in red dye and there's fingerprinting dust everywhere!!

she goes in to Robinson's VW this morning to be repaired, god knows how long it will take though. there's a couple of panels to be sprayed and all the wheels have been mildly kerbed.

i'm gonna have a better look round this morning and get a list up before i take it in this morning.

adam

Surprised the insurance company didnt write it off then?

Make sure it's put back to mint condition - inside & out.

Also, check inside glove boxes for dye, inside door panels (staining glass etc) etc.

WTF did the morons think they were doing opening the box in the car anyway? :finger:

Idiots, am suprised they insurance company didnt just transport it striaght to the garage anyway.

Does the repair need to be about 60% of the cars value for them to write it off?

Watch the fingerprinting dust... I'm sure I heard once that it's not very good for you.

Especially if you're the criminal

I'd be more concerned about how badly bent the suspension is , and what damage has been done to the engine while it was thrashed around. It's going to be very hard to prove what the cause is if it blows up in a month or so's time
