Looking at a Fabia VRS mk II - few questions

Featured Replies

If you are buying 5W 30 Long Life for the Twincharger it is the Comma Prolife 5w 30

You are right, my mistake, thanks for the correction.

Five litres of Comma Prolife 5W- 30 costs £16 more than Comma XTC5L XTech Fully Synthetic 5W-30 at Amazon!

Four litres of Castrol Edge FST 5W-30 costs even more - £39.

I carry a litre of Castrol Edge FST 5W-30 - just in case.

    I've owned mine just over two years now and it's never missed a beat. 2011 CAVE mine is. Oil can be an issue but I kinda expect some usage due to the type of car. I'd say top up between 1/2 litres bet

Yeah make sure you get the right comma oil.

Comma XTC5L or XTECH is for Ford engines.

For the twincharger and Comma oil your options are:

PRO5L Prolife which is 5w30

XFV5L Type V which is 5w30

SYN5L Syner G which is 5w40

XFG5L Type G which is 5w40

Prolife and Syner G are their "Retail" packs and the Type V/G are their "Garage" range which is exactly the same oil in slight less attractive packaging but a lot less money.

@GoneOffSki -

If I'm supplying 5w 40 for a full oil change, next service, how much will I need to get?

Which DENSO plugs are best to fit?
