Heard lot´s of good stuff on the TSI, but been driving diesel for a few years now and really like it. Borrowed the 184 DSG for a few days, but automatic is´nt for me, i like the feeling of full controll of the revs

Have a KIA Sportage now that i will be trading in, 115hp and heavier. The 150TDI is perfect for me

Spoke with the dealer this morning and he thinks it will arrive next week, the only problem then is that i might have to buy wintertires :( 1-2 weeks to early delivery. Was hoping to push that until october. I hate changing tyres, and this means i have to do it about 2 weeks apart...

I dont know where in Sweden you are but I´m in Trondheim Norway (as north as Åre) and the last ice and snow is now melting. A week or two and I will be changing to summer tires.

 

And look on the bright side, bying winter tires in the spring will save you a lot of money as the dealerships want to sell out before summer season is upon us. As for the 150TDI it surely is a very good engine and with 340Nm it feels much stronger than my 280Nm TSI. However I love DSG and i really missed a petrol engine so I am happy.

I live in Umeå, and sure, the last (hopefully) snow is melting, 8 degrees plus today and sunshine But next week it looks like -10 instead... The law says april 1st if the roads has snow or ice on it, before that you are not allowed to change tires. The dealer wanted me to pick it upp on the 29th if it has arrived. He´s on vacation 30th mars-6th april :(

1 month ago i found som good deals on winter tires, now nothing. Maybe they put them away already and don´t care if they just sit on them.

I´ll be taking the car straight to a paint conservation. Arctic seal 2.0, so hopefully they will be done april 1st

This is the car Will get the black plastic cover for the rearview mirror as well.

Spoke with the dealer again, won´t get until 11-12th of april it looks like, just fine by me, dry roads and lots of grip
