Monte Carlo Sport suspension option

Featured Replies

Hi All

Does anybody know if the sport suspension (option from the dealer) lowers the car at all ? Or are they just firmer springs, and the ride height is the same ?

Many Thanks

Martin

It does. By a whooping 15 mm.

-there used to be a pinned(?) show-your-fab mk3-picture-thread here? Someone did put up a pic showing 2 fab3 nose-to-nose, one of them lowered. Its not much but personally Im finding the lowered version a bit better looking.

I saw one at Geneva and according to the fella on the stand it had the sport suspension.

Thanks Guys :)

Seeing that picture from that angle I just keep thinking it would look awesome with two oval exhaust tips in the defuser like the new Audi RS3!

Although it might need an engine upgrade to match haha

Have you looked into Bilstein B6's with Eibach springs, will drop it 30mm and improve the ride quality.
