Hi I am having trouble with the engine tick over being very low. It needs a bit of throttle to start up and it's not getting above 700 rpm once warmed up. I have blasted with Carb cleaner and oil level is ok. I'm guessing it's a fuel injection problem but any pointers would be a big help. cheers in advance

I suggest cleaning the pressure / temperature sensor for intake air. Look for oily residues.

 

From your description the idle is not rough, just low. Injector problems usually manifest as misfire.

When did you service the engine last time?

Ok. Where do I find this ? Is it near the distributor?
