Cost of Shell V-Power Nitro+

Featured Replies

Any one else noticed the cost of Shell Premium unleaded has gone up recently.

At my local on Saturday, Standard Unleaded was 103.9  yet V Power Nitro+ was 119.9, a 16 pence per litre price difference (I stopped at £4.00 when I noticed)

When Fuel was £1.40 a litre the premium for the premium fuel was about 8 pence a litre, since the price has come down to just over £1 this has gone up to about 11 pence a litre.

Any one know why the difference gone up.

Stewart.

Triple points on vpower offer back on again? Only thing I can think of.

You stopped at £4.00?  :D

What did you do then, go elsewhere or fill up with normal unleaded?

Yup !

In NW London, ordinary unleaded is something like 99p a litre, whereas V-power was £1.129 last week

At the end of January it was  £1.119. and as you say the difference at the peak round here was £00.06-00.07.

With revenue from North-Sea PRT down to near nothing, George O isn't going to complain. Every little helps . . . . pay some poor ******s PIP.

Meanwhile, .  . . .

. . . .  in Kurdistan some funds will have to be found to foot the bill for "Lucky's" latest adventure:-

Yes, went along the road and put in BP ultimate, still 111.9 mind you, but needed 3/4 of a tank.

Tesco Momentum 99 (99 octane Minimum) is up to 106.9 pence a litre or so,

but then it is always 5 pence a litre more than Tesco Unleaded 95 ron.

Worth every penny if you need to run 98 Ron Super and do not want to buy the likes of 97 ron Super Unleaded,

or the over priced Shell V-Power Nitro +.   Well it is IMO.

You don't have some Scottish ancestry by any chance :p ?

The BP Garage about a mile from me is 16p per litre more for Super Deisel that the BP garage about 2 miles away.  My Vrs runs on Super Shell and at the moment it's £1.14 per litre.

All our local Shell garages are £1.14, try to use it whenever we can.

Possibly. :notme:

I was happy paying 7 or 8p per litre more when when 95UL was 1.30 or more so about 5 or 6% extra.

But 16p is 15% !! at the current 1.03 for 95UL.

As stated Momentum is by far the best value, but its 12 miles to my nearest.

Only an 8p difference (103.9 v 111.9) at the Shell in Pollokshaws, Glasgow today - first time I've ever bothered to actually check (prompted by this Fred!)
