How long is your commute?

Twenty miles there twenty back. Just takes 20 mins. Used to be a 43 mile trip there and 43 back. Great.

40 miles usually. 45-50 mins.

15 miles when I drive, 12 miles if I cycle. The driving route bypasses a section that is almost always heavily congested but not too bad to get through on the bike.

 

Normally takes about 40 minutes driving and about 45 minutes cycling, thankfully we have a shower at work for the days I cycle in...

 

I reckon an hour each way to permanent place of work is ok although I'd stretch that by a few minutes for a really great job. My last job I was hardly ever in the office but it's lovely not doing 30000 miles a year as well and the 8 or 9 hours working on customer sites any more.
