Next year could mean over a year from now! So 10k does seem a reachable figure.

I think you could pick one up privately now for 10k but dealers seem to want a wee bit more. Depends if you have a p/x really as to what they will sell you one for, they have a set margin on a car

What's available on Autotrader now? Should give you an idea of what you are going to pay next year, depending on when next year...

When the new registrations (06) come in, there might be dealers looking to shift their 05 and 55 demonstrators. Depending on the dealer, the demonstrators may have had a hard life...

Tempting but alas I need the money for a new ish diesel MPV for us

When I did the deal Sunday for the new Sport, dealers can offer 8% no problem. They don't want to, but will ! And I had the discount structure confirmed by 3 different dealers.

They cannot get enough Fab vRS. Factory build time is 2/3 months !!! So you can see why they don't want to give discounts !
