My Octavia is a great car, except the glow plug light flashes intermittently. Amber. It's very annoying and I think it affects the performance of the car. Any ideas anyone? It has been on diagnostics twice at a main dealer.

It's the somethings gone wrong light.

What did the main dealer find?

1.6 diesel? Glow plug = could be DFP related?  However rather than second guessing, a VCDS scan would be much more accurate!

EGR maybe?
