each to their own, I guess.

Octygone,

Can you tell me how much power increase you have had with this Dragon box and how many miles your motor has done?

Looks like you can get this box for around

If I had the choice between a tuning box, and a switchable remap for similar money, I'd have the remap. ;)

What about you Octygone? Walkie?

The ONLY benefit of the Dragon imo, is the fact that you can sell it on when you are fed up with it!

Who could do a remap for me then? Any suggestions?

When you say 'fed up' you mean because it's not that great or something else?

The Dragon box is good and you can pick them up from people on here for around £200.....but the best thing is to keep an eye out on here for a group buy ...last one a couple of weeks ago was an AMD one click remap for £300 much better than the dragon box for that price

Is that Dragon Box of yours a special edition model Octygone? It seems to be as good as a remap from what you say!

Ummm - and it gets you pretty close to the power output of a remap for a fraction of the cost ;) Plus you don't have to mess about with your ECU and potentially do a lot of costly damage if the flashing goes wrong ;)

How do you show when you start your run on the video

Point the video at the speedo ;) The video will record it's own index, so assuming this is accurate (big assumption!), you can pull off the time taken for the needle to move from 0 to 60 mph.

ouch.......added

I must say I was a sceptic but having loaded the file into windows movie maker I'd say 7.5 is accurate.

It would be easier on a dry road  and I did it in windows movie maker so that should be accurate........trouble is she can't sit behind me and point the cam over my shoulder because the seat is so far away she can't reach.......

I reckoned on 8 secs or below...so I'm quite happy with it ...surprises a few people
