Does anybody recognise this car nx61 zxu

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anybody has any info on this fabia vrs estate. It's for sale in Andover and has a briskoda sticker in the back window I think the owners name is Simon.

No but I see the following is an advisory on its last MOT.

"Both front tyres worn smooth on inner edges and low on tread"

Could that be some front suspension parts worn? I have seen this on a 59 1.9tdi I was looking at. Anyone know what that could be? Easy fix?

It means it needs tyres because someone has been spinning up the ones fitted,

180ps minimum and DSG and it happens.

I was thinking about the "inner edges wear". Does spinning the front tyres cause this?

Misalignment & Tracking off causes this quite commonly on Mk2 Fabia vRS,

Sometimes it is just the wrong tyre pressures, sometimes lowering springs.

and also the rear tyres become mis-shaped quite commonly.

That is just how they are.

The car was tuned by adm tuning to 210bhp so going through tyres doesn't surprise me, nice looking vehicle though. Brake discs might need replacing looks like there corroding.

Mind you I did hear some rattling and squeaking in the car so could be something to do with suspension. Or maybe the miltek exhaust.

Discs and pads all around are about £140,

but you would be wanting to upgrade the pads i would think with the Stage 1.

You would want to check what springs are fitted.

You are taking the risk of buying already mapped and having no Warranty & not being able to buy one on the Mapped Car.

(Other than if you are getting some Warranty Underwritten by the seller.)

Have you checked insurance with anyone, maybe some of the Brokers that are Briskoda Sponsors?

One quote was £517 compared to £317 standard so quite a difference.
