Ok here's a question - are the Fabia exterior door handles the same as the MK4 Golf / Passat / Bora?

Thought it might be easier to get a set of 4 from a scrappys to get a bodyshop to colour code then just swap them over

I bought a set off ebay for around £25 (have a look under Golf) - problem i see now is these are starting to "pitt" which is why i'm gonna have the handles painted (maybe the side strips as well)

When I park next to my uncle's silver Golf, the colour is very very similar. And the fact that the handle is curved and not flat, the way light will hit them will mask any colour difference, I'm sure you'd get away with it!

The milotec ones are top quality.

Looks like most Octavias have black handles as well, and there's more Golfs in the breakers

by this i mean if you look closely there not smooth anymore - tiny pinpricks in the fake chrome (if these were proper metal i'd say they were rusting)

Nothing comes from Skoda painted, all parts come in primer to be sprayed.

i've manage to source a set of silver handles from an Octavia from a breakers for £25, they just said they'll come as they are so i assume at worst 1 or 2 may need re-painting

don't know as i've ordered them mail order - they said these were on the shelf so i didn't get chance to ask for a guide
