WMA or MP3 for downloading from allofmp3.com

Featured Replies

Which would be the better option for downloading from allofmp3.com, wma or mp3. I will need to convert the file afterwards to be able to play in the fabia vrs cd player and I don't want to download all my tracks and found I have done it in the wrong format!

I really don't know what I am doing

you will have to convert them anyway so either is ok.

WMA does tend to take up less space on your HDD though

Either is ok, I use MP3 but at high bitrates. Tip for burning, use a recording app that can create audio CD's. These generaly as a rule will take the MP3 and do the necessary for you. I currently use Nero 7, just drag and drop the MP3's to the burning window and bobs your uncle.

I just get MediaPlayer 10 to do it when I burn.

I have windows ME, is there anything on that that would do the cd audio business or do I have to pay for something like Nero?

Nero is the most reliable IMO but there are others out there. Expect to pay for it or at the very least put up with trial software full of adds etc or limited in functionality. Nero can be picked up pretty cheap though.

Obviously this is illegal, and copyright infringement, but you could download emule or limewire, and find mp3's and software.

I'll stick with allofmp3 I think
