Dip or wrap?

Featured Replies

I'm starting to get some lacquer peal on my wing mirrors, i would like to get them wrapped or dipped. Which is best? Can i polish a vinyl wrap? Can it be matched to the milotec carbon pattern already on the car?

Cheers

Sam

You can polish wrap yes.

If your lacquer is lifting, you will struggle to find a company willing to wrap over lifting paint, I wouldn't, you're best bet would be plasti duo, but it's really only available in Matt and you can match colour.

Available in matt yes, but you can get glossifer which will give a top coat effect.

You can but its crap, just makes it like a satin finish really

To be honest being mirrors I'd take them off and respray them with paint.

Then once a good surface get them wrapped, if that's what finish you want.

Or get them hydrodipped
