18" Skoda Octavia Geminis on a new Superb

Featured Replies

Hello!

Has anyone tryed if the Geminis from the Skoda Octavia RS fit with the the new superb.

The rim size are as follows:
18 x 7.5
ET51
5x112
225/40/18
The link:

Thanks!

I'd be very surprised if they didn't fit. The PCD and centre bore are correct. I reckon the offset is in the right range too.

If you know the same details for the Superb, I'd recommend looking at this website to compare them:

Hi.

Im quite sure that they will.
The local Skoda dealership said that they should fit.
There will be a difference in the offset´s if I recall right, the dealership claimed it to be 5.
One reason why I posted this thread was to see, if anyone has tryed this before and can give me somekind of backbrief (his her experience) or pictures. That would already make my expenses be minimal. If it doesen´t work/fit/look good, that saves me from a whole world of trouble.

Google´ing didint end very succesful for me :(.

I see. Sorry but I can't help with pictures!

Maybe put a post in the photoshop section? I've had a quick look on Google and couldn't find anything either. At least your car would be unique :)

Yeah true :D.

Yes they will physically fit BUT they will sit 13mm further inside the arches so will look a bit lost, also the tyres are the wrong size for the S3. (Spacers would cure this)

(The S3 OE wheels are 8" wide and ET44)

http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=235&aspect=45&diameter=18&wheelwidth=8&offset=44&width2=225&aspect2=40&diameter2=18&wheelwidth2=7.5&offset2=51&Submit=Calculate#content

Plus, you need 235/45 tyres for the S3.

If you use Gemini alloys, you'll be having a hard time with 235 with on 7.5'' rims. You need 8'' for 235, otherwise your tyre will sit to pulled put to the edge of the rim, as a result, the rim protector will be useless, living your rim very exposed

I tried the same thing backward, fitting S3 wheels to my S2 and it was a bust, due to rim width and different ET.

I did say the tyres were the wrong size for the S3

Fitting 235's on a 7.5" rim will actually give you slightly more rim protection.

Yes, you're right, my bad. :(

I was thinking of 225 on 8'' rim
