Rear bumper protection

Featured Replies

The transparent foil coupled with the genuine lip protector (which I have) would be a very neat solution.

I have the genuine protector - people scoff continually that it doesn't protect the corner, but the dimpled sections on the protector itself mean it's really difficult to touch the corner anyway as objects are lifted away - hence 2 years later, no marks.

And it looks factory - unlike those RGM / Rearguard items that are so obviously aftermarket...

Meoww.

Whilst your guard fits well and does look factory/OEM this may not always be the best look.

Consider the genuine Yeti roofbars. They do not look correct.

Personal taste.

I think the genuine roofbars look great.

I'd accept that for those needing every inch of space, the Thule overhanging types give that bit more, but I don't think they look right on the car.

But that's just my opinion. I wouldn't dream of inflicting it on anyone else.

I put the Yeti OEM bumper protector on the old car and have the same thing for the new one, just waiting on warmer weather.

137699 - what colour is that, looks like silver? Not listed in the latest accessories brochure. I see that Super Skoda do a silver one but it is for pre-facelift models - has the top of the rear bumper really changed? Mine is a 2016 MY  Urban/City/Indoor.

Yes it's silver - exact match for the front/rear bumper aprons and wing mirrors (and in my case also the side skirt protectors).
