My vRS has the climatronic system in it - has anyone thought about moving it up and swapping it with the radio/cubby slot? I would imagine there are electrical connections behind it, rather than cables, so should be possible. I just find it daft that they put it so low down in the dash, when really it needs to be higher up - adjusting the damn thing can be awkward on the move (when needed)

You could move it up, however there are no mounts for the captive nuts that hold the panel in, see pic. The electrical connector won't be a problem.

Captive nuts shouldn't be a problem - may just get a centre dash console from a breaker and modify that to suit, personally I would like the controls higher, the radio would be better lower to me.
