Hi all

Names Andrew, reside in Australia. Im a mechanical engineer. Was previously a vehicle mechanic on light and then heavy diesel till I got sick of the tools and went back to school to get my degree.

I'm awaiting delivery of a MY16 Octavia VRS wagon. DSG, Candy white, 19" black pack, tech pack, comfort pack, sunroof and auto gate. It's in the country and on a train from the port to me.

New to Skoda but not new to VAG,s. My Current car is a MY13 polo gti with some mods.

Future plans are a westfalia Towbar which I have already purchased (mainly for my bike rack) will get a tune once I'v put some kms on it and a DTM front splitter is on the cards.

Not going to play to much with this one as it's the family hauler and I need some comfort after the polo. My suspension mods on the polo turned it into a Gokart which combined with the power upgrades was fun around town but not so nice for long trips.

Look forward to roaming the posts and checking out what folks have done to there Octavias.
