Breakdown Cover?

Featured Replies

I had a 'personal possessions' section that covered personal items (with some exclusions, such as cycles) anywhere in the world - TBH I think it would be a PiTA claiming for a mobile phone under home insurance - much quicker with bespoke mobile insurance where the phone is registered (er, hopefully...).

The Nationwide Flex plus mobile phone insurance worked well for me when my son cracked the screen on his mobile phone whilst at University - phone was only away for a few days.

You have to remember if a phone is stolen then you need something to prove it's IMEI number (receipt or bill etc)

Indeed, but if it's stolen you need proof of this on a receipt, bill or confirmation by relevant mobile phone company
