Well I'm going to put in a set of S3 Recaros I've got after I've fitted the new black carpet, but I was just wondering where is the best place to take a power feed from? Would it be OK to tap into the cigarette lighter power? I can't see the seats drawing to much power? Any help would be great. I've done a lot of searching and can't really find a definite answer.

I'd imagine that electric seat motors draw a LOT of power as it happens.

 

I wouldn't entertain the idea of going to the fag lighter feed, you're gonna need a far more robust supply.

 

If you pop the cover off under the steering wheel, there's some hefty feeds there. Alternatively, run your own from the distribution box on top of the battery?

Any pictures of where you mean? I know there's a few on here that have done the same, just waiting on a definite answer. I've got most of the trim back on the car so it means I'll have to take it all off again........
