Went with an L&K but added: 

 

Crew protection with rear side airbags. I have 2 children, why the hell wouldn't I add this first? 

Beige leather interior - Annoyed with the only alternative (Brown), but now happy with the choice.

19" Phoenix Alloys - they suit the car perfectly. The ride isn't compromised by them either

Ventilated front seats - personally, I think the ventilated leather is thicker and slightly better quality than the standard hide. The rear seats get the same leather but not ventilated.

Smart Light Assist - as a £100 option on L&K spec, you'd be mad not to!

DSG paddles - I use them more than I thought I would

Premium WLAN and Bluetooth+ including phone box

Rear parking camera - well worth the £300 IMHO

Heated washed nozzles - shame the nozzles themselves are a bit rubbish

Spare wheel - doesn't need an explanation......

Variable boot floor 

Rear partition net - this was invaluable for the holiday with the boot loaded to the roof!

4th year extended warranty 

 

Stuff I considered but never ordered

 

Panoramic sunroof - too expensive, and I haven't had a car with a sunroof since my Mk2 Octavia, even then I never used it. 

Travel assist - 5 minutes with VCDS took care of that one....

Yes--- but how much more does it cost as against U.K. prices ?

I have ordered about £1100 worth of options, exactly what i want and no more!

Waiting for my S3 L&K hatch. I'll order a load of stuff from Superskoda when a discount code is posted.

I have ordered replacement fog and reversing light bulbs in the meantime.
