On my Octavia 1, one front indicator has a rubber flap above the lens which slots into some holes, but the other doesn't. The indicator without the rubber thing has got all moisture inside, unsurprisingly. does anyone know the part number / name for this rubber part?

Isn't that rubber seal integral to the light assembly at point of manufacture? Not too sure what you mean. If it's integral then I dare say it's a replacement job, pattern part ones are cheap enough.

Hm it could be, it sort of sits on the top. The other side was quite loose so I'm not sure if it's separate or not. Maybe I'll just dry the old one out and silicone it up

You could try that. I had condensation forming in mine I just replaced them in the end with Depo ones (ebay) weren't too expensive and were fine

I recently bought new indicators off ebay, was about £15 for the pair. They seem pretty good, I didn't look that close but I'm pretty sure they are almost identical to my old OEM ones. They fit perfectly and for the money, it makes sense imo.

Yeah I'll see what I can do with silicone but if not I'll get new lenses. Cheers!

The proper hella indicators are about £20 each. The cheaper ones are OK but poor quality
