VRS stage 2 remapped today - Still only boosting to 13-14 psi maximum.

I'll give them a chance to fix it this Saturday, if that doesn't do anything, I'll do as said, put the stock map on and take it elsewhere.

I've just got the car back from V12 once again and I'm happy to say the boosting issue has been resolved! It was definitely a software issue, though I did change a good few pipes that had been split.

It could potentially be worth taking it back one last time for a final tweak to the map, but overall I'm happy with the service V12 provided. I'm also still not ruling out a faulty n75 as the boost delivery is on and off at times.

Thanks for all the help

Where did you get the Front mount intercooler from for the vrs, because I need one asap

Glad you got it sorted and V12 were forthcoming, could well be worth trying an n75 just to rule it out, get a used working one off a breaker, try it the cheap way. If it's still playing up you may find yourself back at V12 again.

One of the big problems with the 1.8t is the sheer number of pipes that have the potential to leak both boost and vac. Some more difficult than others to diagnose as well.

That's true enough, smoke test might be a good idea before you try the n75.

my personal opinion is a smoke test should be the second thing you do prior to a remap, first being a scan of faults (including block 32 check)

It was fitted by the previous owner but I'm fairly sure it was an official kit by forge.

I'm going to delete the n112, n249 and sai tomorrow which will free up a few of those

How did you get on after the deletes? Block 32 is the one that will tell you the health of your pipe work. There is a guide online that goes over what the figures mean. I can never seem to remember which way round it goes, it's either on the audi forum or vwvortex..

Sorry I forgot to update. The deletes went well but didn't really do anything other than clean up my engine bay.

In the end I took it back to the place I had it remapped and he sorted it, so it looks to be a software issue.

The car now boosts fine but I still have the problem that it goes in to soft limp mode.

Also checked that block 032 and both figures were very close to 0.
