Parking sensors

Featured Replies

I have recently took ownership of an 2012 octy blackline,  The rear parking sensors are connected up via the amundsen + stereo and the volume can be controlled via the maxi dot. I am happy with this.  The front sensors however do not allow me to alter the volume so i suspect that these may be a aftermarket installation?  Are the any VCDS codes etc that anyone can think of that can reduce the volume of this?

Cheers

If they are aftermarket then VCDS won't help I'm afraid.

Do both front and back show on the headunit when reversing?

Do you have a button for the parking sensors in front of the gear stick with the ESP/TPMS buttons?

No only the rear ones, and no button?

Almost certainly aftermarket...

You could try and find the front parking module, depending what it used you might find a manual with options to change the volume.

Alternatively you could find it's speaker and either change it or put foam round it to deaden it.
