obd ?

Featured Replies

what's best obd scanner for codding or enable or disable some option ?

Depends on what you want to do. If you are satisfied with what Carista for Android can do, you can buy a cheap 5$ bluetooth ELM327 adapter (but be careful which version you will buy, only real v1.4+ works) and play with it.

For the maximum potential you need to buy a VCDS cable which is expensive if you buy the original one. There are cheap clones but may or may not work with your car depending on the version and you will get no help here with these.

i want it for active option like ( single door lock - cornering function-etc... and for remove error or codding to add led light tail or onther thig

Then Carista should do you just fine. If you have an Apple device then Carista only works with a WiFi ELM327 adapter.
If you have an Android device then Carista only works with a Bluetooth ELM327 adapter.

In my case, current versions of Carista cannot make any option changes at all to my 2016 Rapid,

though it works perfectly with my 2011 Fabia and I understand that it works with Rapids up to model year 2015.

Hope that helps.

Carista / cheap eBay Bluetooth dongle has worked well for me - enabling door locking / unlocking, needle sweep etc, but it isn't able to alter coding for things like LED lights etc.
