Cheers mate

Where in the hell did you find them?

All I can find that are decent are Quattro TT ones which can rub against the carrier on the furbie. Which I assume is cause the discs are vented. I'm having to go for a new set up off eBay(only Genuine eBay spares for me thanks) which meant my brakes budget got blown on rears only. I really need to fill my Alloy with discs, it's a curse really.

Go to your local breakers yard. I picked up a 312mm calipers and carriers for £38 for the pair.

I did try them but trying to explain to the person on the phone was rather frustrating. Thought I would start by asking if they had brakes off an octy VRs mk1, unvented.

"Nope sorry none of those in for braking."

"What about a mk1 TT, non Quattro?"

"Yes we do."

"Excellent, does it have 312mm front disks and 256mm rears(not sure if they all are?)"

"Don't know"

"Can you check for me please? If they are, and the price is OK I will collect them today if possible."

"Sorry, I don't have anyone available to check, do you want them or not?"

"No point if they aren't right."

"OK, sorry about that, bye"

End of conversation. Wish I was rich[emoji14] .
