Found this forum recently, after buying a Skoda Superb Comb Outdoor (Plus) 4x4 in September 2015. Went to look at an Octavia Scout model (as I was looking for 4x4) and saw the Superb lurking outside the dealers. It was as new / pre-registered (last of the old stock), and with discount price, affordable! It is finished in the Metal Grey Metallic with the Anthracite 'Trinity' alloy wheels and privacy glass and black interior. It is the 140 PS 2.0CRDi with 6 speed manual (my preference as luck would have it). 

 

Love this car, only problem was that diesel gate went public a couple of weeks after getting it, which took some of the shine off of it, but hey ho!

 

Had a tow bar fitted and we are now just about to pick up a new (to us) caravan, so looking for the essential towing kit.

 

Could do with a bit more power, but sufficient when the family are on board. We will see what its like with the 'van on the back.

Welcome! I'm sure it will be fine for towing. A lot of members on here have 140bhp and tow no problem
