Hi Guys,

 

Went to view a Octavia today, 03 plate 1.9tdi 110, nice car, went well and was well priced.

One thing that niggled me was that I didn't see an EML come on when I turned the ignition on.

Does it use a separate light that looks like a little engine block or does it use flashing glow plug light or something like that, I know other VAG cars do?

 

I used to have a 53 plate leon that had the light that looked like an engine block but that was the pd130.

Mk1 1.9 TDI 110 uses the glow plug light as eml.
