how often do ya clean ya car in winter?

Both my number plates were black with crud along with the rest of the car so I decided to clean it, the water was freezing as soon as it was put on the car, very cold and very painful, the neighbours thought I has lost the plot as well as it was -0.5 when I did it.

Also had to slosh some heavily salted water around the car (not on it before anyone anyone comments) as it was an ice rink afterwards and knowing my luck some git would slip on it.
