The results of the 2016 Driver Power customer satisfaction survey are in, revealing the best cars you can buy in the UK

When you’re buying a new car, there's no strong indication of what it’ll be like to own over a long period of time. You don’t know how reliable it’ll be, how comfortable it’ll be to drive on a day-to-day basis and how much money you’ll spend on running it.  The Driver Power customer satisfaction survey resolves these issues, though, revealing the very best cars that you can spend your money on in the UK. Thousands of owners have rated their cars on everything from their reliability and running costs to seat comfort and in-car technology. We’ve produced a full table of results further down the page that you can filter by the particular aspect you want to look at, to help inform your decision if you’re in the market for a new car.  This year it was the turn of the all-electric cars to shine. The Tesla Model S took the top spot, while the Renault Zoe finished in second place. Renault also took the third spot, with the Renault Kadjar crossover edging last year's Driver Power winner, the Lexus IS, into fourth. The Kadjar's impressive finish bolsters its position as one of our favourite crossovers currently on sale.

Good showing by Skoda.  Very good for Dacia, Nissan-Renault too.

Heart warming to have such personal vindication of ones opinions.

Are there truly no really bad cars anymore when you see the Skoda Mk 2, which I had a VRS and loved it but it had its issues, and the A1 so low in the charts?

Tesla in No1 position? Ive never seen a Tesla. I always find it strange that low volume cars always seem to take the top prize. Fewer cars.....fewer potential problems particulary when a good quality brand.

There is a few running around here and they are not that distinctive in the outside.

I think it is a ratio issue so as long as the sample size is reasonable ie a few hundred at least, not a surprise to me.

The acceleration is incredible and its delivery of it surreal compared to internal combustion engine cars with auto or manual gearboxes.

Kadjur is just a Qasqui of course but Nissan-Renault choose to biuld in Spain and not to have all the eggs in a country that might leave the Free trade Area of the EU.
