I have visited today VW dealer Moller Auto Riga and bought Nozzles from the Passat

Good sir, did the heated Passat ones fit in ok and do they work as well as you thought they would? If so I thinks I'll be ordering a set soon as I get back to the UK! Thanks for doing the leg work and being the guinea pig on testing!

@Blahde2

nozzles are exactly same and perfectly fit

I like you (but not in that way, so don't get excited!)!!!

I feel a trip coming on to my local TPS centre for two PASSAT washers jets!

Two of the following please dealer:   5M0 955 986 C 9B9

MartiniB: Please confirm I have the right part number for the new and improved VW Passat Fan Jets and have not made a pigs ear of your original post?

Thank you!

heated Nozzles from the Passat

The same thing at Seat with the same fix - bit more information here -

Replaced them on my Leon ages ago, and will probably do the same on the Superb mainly because they use less water than the 'pistol jets' especially with the Superb having headlight washers as well - may save having to fill the bottle every couple of days

Can someone confirm how much the local TPS want for a pair of these?

Many thanks

For one thing, it will be a hell of a lot cheaper than from your stealer, sorry dealer!

TPS supply the dealers, so when your car needs a new headlight, the dealer orders it through TPS, pay them £xx pounds, then charge you £XXX for it and then add labour!

You can get every bit of your car, even a servicing kit for your car on its VIN plate, then take that to the dealer and negotiate the labour charge! They are the secret OEM equipment suppliers!

Thought I'd add to this - I've just replaced the Superb washers with the VW ones and it's so much better.

Thanks @dstev2000

Anyone got the part number for non heated one please guys..

Thanks

  • 4 weeks later...

Ordered mine via AliExpress and they turned up within the week!! Only managed to get them fitted this weekend (due to a broken foot) and very pleased with the improvement!

I had assumed that my L&K had heated washers but upon fitting I discovered this wasn't true. Still, the new ones work very well and I'm happy...

Just carried out a search on Google for TPS and found their website but it didn't recognise pt: 5M0 955 986 C 9B9 , didn't list any prices for the parts it did list and didn't come up with any addresses when using their 'search by postcode' for finding local TPS centre???

I was really disappointed coming from a B8 Passat 140TDI Highline with heated / fan style jets, to the little "squirts" on the Superb.

But anyway, I have resolved this with the Non-Heated Part No. 5M0955985C9B9 (a shame the Superb does not have heated washers in AUS market)...
