Skoda Felicia 1.9 AEF 1999 Intake manifold cover

Featured Replies

Hi, the intake manifold cover has lost it's round cover seal which sits on the top bottom right corner with a spring underneath it, I can't seem to find a supplier selling it, can anyone help with a supplier or even the part number, as I drawn a blank with Skoda.

Thank

How about a photo with an arrow pointing at the part in question? A description like "top bottom right corner" is quite challenging to say the least.

That piece could be better described as a breather cap.

Good luck with your search.

Looks like you can only buy the complete cover £100 appox found the case number 028129037 B

The circled part is called pressure regulating valve for the crankcase breather (as Rich said). But as you've mentioned you can buy it only as a whole, the cover for air intake. I don't see it happening in the UK though. In Czech Republic it is available (part number 028129037B) at around 85 Euro (http://www.amd-autodily.cz/motor/kryt-pro-saci-potrubi.html)

So my advice is to repair the one you have or find a SH one in a breaker yard.

What is lost? You said something about a seal. It's a seal not the Space Shuttle. Can't you make or adapt one?

Look under the engine code aef I just scrapped a 1.9 derv engined car as I fort no one wanted bits...
