Take care out there

Featured Replies

It's getting cold and the roads are getting slippy. Just be a bit slower round bends and leave a bit extra stopping distance. I, nor anyone here, wants to see a damaged car which could've been avoided.

Plus it scares the bejesus outta you when your going round a bend at 70mph (ish) and the car starts going all over the place! Yes, I did have a brown trousers time earlier.

Good advice Moose  I planned on taking the wife to see her brother tommorow. We were travelling there and back, Harrogate to Worchester but due to the impending weather it's not worth the hastle Stopping at home instead.......................Looks like some drinkies now.....Footies on later " COME ON YOU EVERTON ":)

Good heads up... keep it calm out there everyone

snow is great I've beat some very exotic cars away from the lights lately - in my octy deisel (oops forgot the 4x4 bit)

Well on the way to work today I decided to stick to bus routes as I thought they would all be gritted. How wrong was I

The milk routes are the only ones guaranteed to be gritted.

I was coming from M25 onto M23, from Dartford way (of course), I normally take the bend at about 90ish. I slowed down to 70ish and still slid round. The barrier is already damaged quite badly so no doubt a few others have been caught by it.

I didn't know that was Lakeside :o I've been to that service station so many times as well.

Yeah followed one yesterday for over two miles at 15 to 20 mph:thumbdwn:

Conditions weren't too bad, an easy 35+ speed on the gritted road we were on. Either the driver or the instructor were obviously scared.

Too much traffic oncoming with bends to overtake, so I and an ever increasing line of cars followed..........and followed ........ until they took a left and the road was clear.

Got to say it, why bother? They clearly were not up to it, should have stayed at home. I know they need practice but perhaps wait until they are up to 'test pass' standard. Did they learn from the drive? Perhaps, but there are better ways.
