Removing Coilovers

Featured Replies

I have a 56 plate VRS which has coilovers fitted, if I were to remove them I need 4 shock absorbers and 4 springs. Now I have some standard springs but which go to the front and back as they are a different size.

The springs which won't fit the back are for the front and vice versa, what was the question again?

Well I think that answers my question Sir, Thank You, sounds easier now.

Actual lol at the genius answer

Wide springs on the front, narrow at the rear,

H&R springs, but will look similar, outer springs for front, inner for the rear.

Ok Guys now I got to thinking, as it has Coil overs on will it still have 4 shock absorbers on, or are these removed when the original springs are removed. Thanks for the past response.

The standard shocks are removed. You will need new shocks too (at least on the front).
