Featured Replies

Hi guys.

This afternoon I was checking the car with VCDS... These are the codes that I did found.

5 Faults Found:
17549 -  Load Calculation Cross Check: Implausible Value
            P1141 - 35-00 -   -
16825 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
            P0441 - 35-00 - Please Register/Activate
16514 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
            P0130 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
16517 -  Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Response too Slow
            P0133 - 35-00 -   -
17511 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
            P1103 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent

Is it definitively just the Lambda sensor or a vacuum leak?

Thanks for the support.

Guys.. any help?

Thank you. I need to replace the lambda sensor. Is it possible to have access from the top of the engine?

Not really, both probes are in the exhaust system under the car.

Ok Thanks. I actually erased all the codes today and after 180 miles I run VCDS for another check. The only code that appeared was

16517 -  Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Response too Slow
            P0133 - 35-00 -   -

Do I need just to change the lambda sensor or there is anything else that I can check before?

Your lambda probe may be sooted up, apparently they can be cleaned by soaking them in white vinegar overnight although frankly the challenge is to get the thing out in the first place.

I just had a look under the car. Damn! It's a real challenge...

Yes, if you have a plastic engine cover take it off and look behind the engine. It should be pretty easy to spot.
