Arggh bloody 32gb SD card

Featured Replies

When I had my citigo it ran a 16gb micro SD card with little or no problems

Just bought my dad a citigo and got him a class10 32gb card and after a day or so the pid won't recognise a card is in and we need to keep removing and reinserting it

Common issue or potentially faulty sd card

Going to try and dig out my 16gb if I can still find it and try that

32gb card in mine with no issues. There is very little difference cost wise between the brands if you purchase from a memory card specialist such as 7 day shop. I usually buy Sandisk or Samsung cards and have had no issues with either brand. I try and stick with the well known flash memory manufacturers such as Sandisk, Samsung, Lexar (Micron) and Toshiba. Everyone else is just buying in memory chips from the big manufacturers and trying to build a working device around them.

If I remember it was a Sandisk from Amazon where all my memory cards etc come from

Could be a duff card don't suppose there is anyway if telling except try a different card

64gb with no issues in well over a year

there are plenty of dodgy sd cards around, even fakely branded. even from amazon, as they use 3rd party companies  in their "marketplace"

but sometimes you just get a duff one
