Antifreeze and Coolant for Skoda Fabia 2004

Featured Replies

Dear Expert,

My Fabia has got coolant level just below minimum mark. I have checked the manual and it require G12 plus (Pink) coolant but I cant find the same.

Can I top up with Bluecol U antifreeze from Asda  which is universal antifreeze and coolant.

Please advise.

Thank you

No, you need g12, put the Bluecol in and it will turn your coolant into a brown sludge!

Either dealer or TPS will have what you need in stock!

thank you so much  Kellaway86.

i will get it from the dealer nearby. :)

Surely a little water is also acceptable. But knowing the concentration of the current contents is questionable and most won't be aware?

Halfords sell a G12 equivalent.

Not true, it will make it purple, and it won't turn into sludge either, that's a myth, stop repeating it.

However, a little tap water at this time of year is absolutely fine.

Sounds like a good time to have a good look around the engine bay to try to see where the missing coolant went?
