Ok so ive got a new key, and have yet to get the blade cut.

 

All the guides i have read are regarding setting up the key with the immobilizer.

 

- I have immo deleted, so would i just swap the guts of the key and cut the blade and it will work?

That should work, since you have the immo deleted.

The blade is held in with a long thin metal clip, knock it out with a hammer and small screw driver. Or split the key and replace the blade and swivel part. Or do you have a non flip key?

what a pain, i took it all apart and its not possible to swap the blades>< as the center plastic thing the swivel part of the blade sits on is different, it restricts the movement and the key will not flip.... easier to get it cut then start messing about with the dremmel to make it fit
