Mr Muscle Fix - PD100 - Bridgend

Featured Replies

Anyone done this fix?

I've just done an oil change and would like to get this issue sorted at same time, but can't even get access to the top Allen bolts.

Willing to pay beer tokens.

Yep seen that and read it, but struggling to even get access is I'm not the most confident around the engine bay.

Would appreciate if anyone in the area had done it, and willing to pay for their time. That or might have to get a bottle of Forte.

Just noticed this is in the Wales section; I've asked if it can be moved to the MkI Fabia section where it'll get more hits :)

Thanks :)

Which part of South Wales, I've sprayed Mr muscle in and around EGR area and just wiped out as I had loads of gunk when I first bought my vrs 4 years ago, it was like tar, seems a lot cleaner when checked it last. I also used a long screwdriver to scrape it out. I'm just outside port talbot.

I'm near Bridgend.

It's not the EGR that's the issue, but the turbo vanes. Thefix is to remove the EGR-to-turbo pipe, and pump Mr Muscle into the turbo.

I'd take the downpipe off of the turbo personally, got mine off without much struggle its just an awkward job. If I remember correctly is 3 13mm bolts but I can't really remember off the top of my head.

I would help but I'm from Sheffield!

Im up the road in porth and will be able to do it for you

Thanks for replying. I may PM you in future if the issue raises it's head again.

On the recommendation of a friend's dad that wholesales to Motor Factors, I used a bottle of clean drive and it seems to have sorted the issue. It's basically a bottle of acetone. ...
