Bluetooth VCDS

Featured Replies

I need to completely disable my oem Bluetooth module in my mk2 fabia vrs. I would rather leave the module in place rather than remove.

Can I completely disable if from vcds? If so, which modules am I looking for?

Dare I ask why you want to disable it?

The most obvious solution is just to unplug it but leave it in place :)

I have a new head unit with CarPlay so the module is no longer needed.

And Oem module is interfering with the swc as its superseding the CarPlay controls.

Unplugging means removing the passengers seat, just a lot easier to switch it off through vcds if I can and leave it in place.

Ok so has a look through the telephone controller, and no option in the adaptations to disable.

I also can't see the module under either of my front seats to try a hard disconnect.

Pic attached of the module details, anyone have an idea?

This module is mounted under the passenger seat, so check again, it should be hidden under the carpet.

Was it fitted from factory or after?

Was it fitted from factory or after?

It's factory fit I believe.

I got the car about 6 months old, it was a company car for someone at Skoda and it was in there when I got it.

Although there is a chance it was fitted at the dealer?

If it was done after then it could be under the stereo. That's where I put ours. It's only 4 screw to remove and check.

Did you figure this out? I need to do the same thing. In addition, my car is LHD so I'm uncertain which seat the bluetooth module is under. Would much prefer to do it in VCDS.
