Smartgate

Featured Replies

Hi

I need to reset my smartgate module, as it keep saying my password is wrong :-(

Have read that u only need to pull the plug to the smartgate module for it to reset, but i cant seem to find it.

Afaik it should be located under the drivers seat (left hand car), but Theres only some big module with fans and stuff there. :-)

Anyone know where the smartgate module, is located on a Superb 3?

I have the same problem. Found some gadget under drivers seat, unplugged some connector, but it doesn't reset smartgate...

So please help if anybody knows where smrtgate is located in Superb III.

Thank you in advance!

Manual says needs dealer reset - though presumably a vcds would do it?

i had this problem - wrong password (using the chassis vin number)

had to book it into the dealer  - they reset the password and made sure i was logged on before leaving.

turns out the first setup password is the chassis number but as usual somebody at the factory has to input that number first, if they make even one digit wrong you cannot connect.

It is crap and a waste of £100 as I cannot for the life of me get it to work.

My phone connects to the Smartgate Wifi point, but the Smartgate app itself then tells me that there is an active Wifi connection and that I must disconnect from it if I want to use Smartgate! WTF?

Seriously ****ed at myself for speccing it! Will see if a dealer in UK can help me out but right now it's being ignored, probably for good!

user manual says there must be also WiFi Direct, but where is it?

It's under settings, wifi, then an option in there. It makes no difference though, I've tried it all and still it mugs me off!
