AUX 2

Featured Replies

I normally play music in my 62 VRS estate Blackline via Bluetooth but decided I'd give the iPod connection in the little compartment below the light switch a go. I connected my iPod via the connection and then and via the 3.5mm headphone socket but get zero sound.

I then tried a 3.5mm lead into the socket in the front of the sat nav unit but only get a very very weak quiet signal.

I've made sure that AUX 2 is activated via the setup menu in the head unit. Frankly I'm lost!

Any ideas guys?

I remember first having this issue in my Octy.

What you have to do is go into the audio settings and boost the signal strength (Or something similar, was a while since I changed mine)

Mine was defaulted to medium, but if you up it to high you get the type of volume you would expect.

I would guess this has been put in place to reduce noise from the iPod?

I am no sound engineer so can't say for sure.

Hope this helps!

Volume on iPod is max. Aux volume is set to high. Still nothing.
