rear tyre wear

Featured Replies

I have noticed that the rear tyres are starting to 'Feather' on the inside edge, so at the last service  i had the alignment checked and as part of it they did a shock absorber rebound test and everything came back fine.  tyre pressures are ok.

rotated the tyres and have noticed that most of the road noise is coming from the front of the car now.

anyone else experience this on their cars?  mine is a VRS TDI Estate

Did they do a full geometry check and give you a print out of the values ? I have never had the sawtoothing issue on any of my Octavia vrs's but plenty of others have.

yes full geometry check, with printout, had everything on it, geometry, brake force, weight distribution and shock absorber test, all within spec.  had the same done at the 15,000km service also.
